October is full with family sessions. Birthdays, maternity, newborns and plain fun with autumn leaves, falling chestnuts, wellingtons and morning mist. It is my favorite time of the year and I truly love those sessions.

Augsburg family photography – Maike, Eike & Torben
6 months old Torben is cute as a button. Patient and good-natured, a power napper at times and hilarious at others (e.g. giving his Dad a new hairstyle). Torben loves his hairy buddy Fynn, naturally they shared the blanket and the basket.
They were equally thrilled.
It was a lot of fun photographing this little family on a sunny morning in Augsburg’s Siebentischwald. I love the lush greens and opulent vegetation in this city park, I think it looks marvelous in black/white.
Cool as a cat
May I introduce Sir Toby.
I had two cats a long time ago – Gottfried and Rascal. If they had followed a career path Gottfried would have been a farmer and Rascal a drug dealer. They were brothers but very different. I loved both of them equally. Too much 
In my next life I would like to be reborn as Sir Toby (Kate’s cat) or Libby (Leslie’s dog). Both have heaven on earth. That is the only way to treat an animal, isn’t it?
